The organization has launched EIF Studios, described as a full-service creative division “aimed at bringing high-quality, purpose-driven content to audiences across the U.S.” The division will develop, produce and distribute what it calls “philanthropically-centered content” across a network that includes streaming, syndicated, network TV, traditional and streaming radio, and other out-of-home mediums. EIF Studios will also develop and implement social impact campaigns for corporations and nonprofit organizations to support the release of films, documentaries, series and other long-form content.

EIF Studios will be led by longtime EIF executive Brian Gott. He manages EIF’s strategic content partnerships with affiliate organizations, agencies, media partners and production resources, after having joined after a stint as publisher of Variety, where he spent 12 years.
EIF is not new to the space. Since 2020, the organization has developed and distributed more than 100 PSAs and produced numerous national broadcasts. Last year alone, EIF teamed with more than 25 organizations to develop and distribute content for partners like the World Food Program, Americares, USO, Alzheimer’s Association, Save the Children, White House Historical Association, Veterans Administration, SoCal Fire Fund and the Hispanic Federation.
EIF has produced content that has received both Primetime Emmy and Peabody Award nominations, most notably its 2020 televised production, Graduate Together: America Honors The High School Graduates, aired across 43 network and streaming platforms simultaneously.
“The purpose of EIF has always relied upon utilizing the strength and reach of the entertainment industry to serve as a philanthropic engine, whether responding to disasters, economic empowerment, or cancer research. EIF Studios will allow us to shepherd important stories from around the world to reach an audience that can make a real impact on the outcome,” explained EIF president and CEO Nicole Sexton.
“Being able to tell a great story is only part of the process. Finding that story’s audience and getting a viewer to care enough about what they heard or saw to act is the other half. EIF Studios can do both by mobilizing the media and entertainment industries to provide world-class resources that are then used to highlight the causes their communities care most deeply about,” said Gott, a Peabody Awards nominee and recent Television Academy Honors winner for his work executive producing Disney’s Out of My Mind.
