Drake‘s Iceman era is off to a hot start, as Spotify confirmed Friday that the superstar was the most-streamed act in a single day of 2026 thanks two the album and his two other surprise releases Maid of Honour and Habibti.

Per Spotify, Iceman earned the most streams for an album in a single day in 2026 as well, while “Make Them Cry” earned the same distinction for songs. Drake’s releases come at the most pivotal time in his career in years, marking his first solo records since his infamous feud with Kendrick Lamar back in 2024.

The early Spotify figures reflect Drake’s continued status as one of the world’s biggest recording artists and suggests massive chart figures to come in the week ahead.

Fans had been anticipating Iceman for months, with Drake promoting the album this year by placing a giant ice structure in the middle of downtown Toronto, hiding the album’s release date inside. Drake had surprised fans on Thursday, revealing during a livestream that along with Iceman, he’d be dropping two more albums as well.

His new releases have dominated social media on Friday, as seemed to call out everyone from Lamar to Lebron James to DJ Khaled on Iceman. Among the artists featured across the three albums are 21 Savage, Sexyy Red and Future, the latter of whom collaborated with Lamar and Metro Boomin on the song “Like That,” the track that caused Lamar and Drake’s beef to blow up in the first place.

With day one nearing an end, the question now becomes just how many units Drake can move across the first week with all of his new music. That’ll become clearer in the coming days.
