Department of Justice proposes putting its attorneys above the law 

The Trump administration is attempting to limit the ethical controls on Department of Justice lawyers, which would make it easier for them to evade accountability and achieve the administration's political goals, and the proposed rule would allow the department to suspend or override state disciplinary processes, in violation of fundamental principles of federalism.
