Connor Storrie stars in a new film, 'Look Behind You,' directed by Nia DaCosta for Verizon. Courtesy of Verizon Connor Storrie turned heads at the Vanity Fair Oscar party as he zipped down the silver carpet in tandem with Nia DaCosta. As with all things Heated Rivalry, the interaction sent the fandom into a frenzy as followers tried to connect the dots and figure out how the 26-year-old breakout knows the successful filmmaker behind 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Hedda, Candyman and The Marvels.
Consider the dots officially connected: Storrie stars in a new branded short film, Look Behind You, directed by DaCosta for Verizon. The four-and-a-half-minute film plays like a scary movie thriller as it opens up with Storrie pulling up to a seemingly secluded cabin in the forest. He unlocks the door using Verizon’s smart home security solutions. After settling in and lighting a fire, Storrie, clad in a pair of jeans and a white tank top, gets spooked time and time again by a series of shocks that suggest he’s not alone.

TV What Has Hollywood Learned From 'Heated Rivalry'?
First, it’s loud death metal that begins blasting from the stereo. Then, as he’s making pasta while studying lines from a script (“I spent all dinner trying to hate the way you laugh”), a house alarm blares. The lights go out and a landline rings. Suddenly, a lamp turns on. “I’m not messing around,” Storrie shouts while carrying a knife he took from the kitchen. Finally, a knock at the door.

Storrie then answers the door amid a sudden rainstorm to reveal a shadowy figure approaching in a raincoat. “I knocked on the door. I looked in the windows. I almost gave up, man,” the man says. “Are you Connor S.?”
Turns out the man is not a serial killer but a ride-share driver. Storrie realizes that the series of spooks he’s been experiencing are his own fault due to “butt dials” as they only occurred as he sat down in various spots around his house. As he comes to the conclusion, he happens to be standing in front of a mirror in his house and the camera pans down to his firm backside.
“The Best Butt. The Best Network. There’s No Escape,” reads the text on the screen.
The compliment won’t come as a surprise to fans of Heated Rivalry as Storrie’s nude backside figured prominently into the show’s first episode. It became a phenomenon, and both he and co-star Hudson Williams were asked about their workout routines in various interviews with the latter frequently praising Storrie’s backside as “the fattest butt I’ve ever seen on a man.”
“I’m sure just wants to stop talking about his beautiful cheeks,” Williams told Men’s Health. The new Verizon short film won’t help to quiet the conversation but it will add another credit to the very booked-and-busy star’s resume. Storrie, who rode the Heated Rivalry wave to host Saturday Night Live, is currently shooting Peaked for A24 and has a new episode of Criminal Minds on the horizon.
Storrie is repped by CAA, Atlas Artists, the law firm Yorn Levine and Shelter PR for personal publicity.
