Getty Images Comedian Adam Friedland is set to bring “The Adam Friedland Show” to Spotify in July. The talk show will relaunch with its third season and partner with the streaming service for ad sales and distribution across all podcast platforms. “I couldn’t be more excited. I asked my colleagues at Spotify for a Spotify premium membership, and they said they’d look into it,” joked Friedland about the new arrangement. Bill Simmons, founder of The Ringer and head of talk strategy, Spotify, added, “I thought the interview podcast had been taken every place it could go, but Adam Friedland somehow reinvented it again. It’s a terrific show, and I can’t wait to never go on it.” As part of the new collaboration, Friedland, who is also a football/soccer fan and Arsenal supporter, will work with Spotify’s The Ringer on an all-new podcast mini-series titled “The Adam Friedland Show Presents: The Beautiful Pod” to cover the upcoming World Cup.
