©Columbia Pictures/courtesy Everett Co / Everett Collection Cliff Booth is returning to the big screen. “The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” the unofficial title for the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” will debut in Imax this Thanksgiving.
Netflix has announced the film will get an exclusive two-week run on Imax screens starting Nov. 25. It will land on the streamer on Dec. 23.
“Cliff Booth,” which brings back Brad Pitt in his Oscar-winning role as a longtime stunt-man, is taking the theatrical slot from another high-profile Netflix release, director Greta Gerwig’s “Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew.” Previously set for Thanksgiving 2026, “Narnia” has been delayed to 2027 and will receive a traditional theatrical run — a first for Netflix. Although Netflix appears to be warming to movie theaters, with token releases for “KPop Demon Hunters” and the finale of “Stranger Things,” insiders at the company have stressed there’s no change to its strategy, which prioritizes all things streaming.
