Video game casting will now be recognized as a membership qualification category by the Casting Society (CSA), allowing professionals in game casting to be eligible to apply for CSA membership.

The newly added category extends to those in video game casting who have worked in senior or principal casting roles, including casting directors, senior casting managers and senior casting producers. (Applicants must have also cast principal roles.) To qualify, the casting professionals must have been involved with voice over, motion capture or performance capture on released titles. Those who work as associate casting directors will also be  eligible to apply, with similar requirements.
