Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara reached the French Open men's doubles semi-finals as they continued their bid for a third Grand Slam title together.

Britain's Patten and his Finnish partner Heliovaara won a maiden major together at Wimbledon in 2024 and triumphed at the Australian Open the following year.

The second seeds moved one step closer to capturing their first Roland Garros title with a 6-3 6-4 victory over India's N Sriram Balaji and Brazil's Marcelo Demoliner.

It is the first time Patten and Heliovaara, who are yet to drop a set in Paris, have reached the French Open last four.

The pair have already won four ATP Tour titles this season, including their first Masters 1000 title on clay at last month's Madrid Open.

They will face Dutch pair Sander Arends and David Pel or French duo Quentin Halys and Pierre-Hugues Herbert next.
