The actress and entrepreneur has signed with power publicist Kelly Bush Novak, CEO and founder of ID-PR, after parting ways with her longtime publicist Leslie Sloane, founder and owner of Vision PR. The move comes months after the settlement of a high-profile legal battle with Justin Baldoni earlier this year. Lively had been with Sloane for more than two decades, dating to the early days of her acting career when Sloane was a senior rep at the now-defunct firm BWR.

Under Novak at ID-PR, Lively joins a roster of A-list clients like Christopher Nolan, Lady Gaga, Seth Rogen, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Ben Stiller, Elliot Page, John Malkovich, Serena Williams, Lena Dunham, Diego Luna, Pamela Adlon and many more.
The move is meant to represent a fresh start for Lively with a focus back on her career and not the 18-month legal tussle that generated considerable media attention. Lively filed a complaint in December 2024, in which she alleged that Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios launched an online smear campaign against her after she spoke up about sexual harassment on the set of their film It Ends With Us.
Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios responded with a defamation suit, which also named Sloane as a defendant. He also sued The New York Times for writing a story after Lively’s complaint. Both of those suits were dismissed, and the settlement saw Baldoni pay Lively’s legal fees. The Hollywood Reporter’s Gary Baum has been covering the machinations behind the alleged usage of smear machines, some of which are spurred on by anonymously operated websites.
Lively remains repped by WME, Entertainment 360 and the lawyers Lindsey Strasberg and David Weber. After It Ends With Us, Lively starred in Another Simple Favor, the sequel to her hit film with Paul Feig and Anna Kendrick. News of Lively’s representation change was first reported by Page Six Hollywood.
