Andrew Rea, the online creator best known for producing food content on the YouTube channel Binging With Babish, is making his narrative debut with the short film “Old Soul” (working title).

Starring Liza Koshy and Dean Winters, “Old Soul” is a fantasy drama set on a subway in New York City. Per the official logine, it “follows a life-changing encounter between two desperate strangers” and “introduces ‘The Entity,’ an immortal, body-shifting consciousness trapped in an infinite cycle and searching for its true purpose.” Though “Old Soul” is a standalone piece, Rea intends to expand the it into a trilogy of feature-length thrillers set across the globe.
