The CBS soap opera “Beyond the Gates” has been renewed for two more seasons and will air through the 2027-2028 broadcast season.

The network revealed the news at its CBS fall schedule announcement press conference on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Created by Michele Val Jean, “Beyond the Gates” began in 2025 and is the first new daytime soap to debut on a major TV network since “Passions” in 1999. It’s also the first daytime soap to feature a predominantly African American cast since “Generations,” which ran on NBC from 1989 to 1991.
