Yash Raj Films/Posham Pa Pictures Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures are joining forces for their first theatrical collaboration, “Mupapa,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana, with a release date of Feb. 19, 2027.
The film, described by the outfits as “genre-bending,” is produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, whose previous producing credit, the Mohit Suri-directed romance “Saiyaara,” became the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history. “Mupapa” marks Widhani’s second outing as a producer. The film is directed by Sameer Saxena, an Indian showrunner and director, whose directorial credits include Netflix series “Kaala Paani.”
