Ariana Madix to Join ‘Just in Time’ Broadway Musical

Following a busy summer in Fiji hosting season eight of Peacock’s Love Island USA, Ariana Madix has found her next gig.

The Emmy-nominated host is set to join the Broadway musical Just in Time, lead producers Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens and John Frost announced on Monday. Madix will be playing Connie Francis for a limited run at Circle in the Square Theatre starting Sept. 12. Her final show will be Nov. 22.

“It’s a pinch-me moment to be able to come home to the Broadway stage and all I could have ever hoped for,” Madix wrote in a statement. “I am beyond excited to work with the legends behind Just In Time and to entertain audiences at one of my favorite theaters in the city!”

Whitney Leavitt to Make Broadway Return in 'Just in Time'

This will be the Vanderpump Rules alum’s second run on Broadway, having made her debut in 2024 playing Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre.

Just in Time, developed and directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, is about legendary singer Bobby Darin (played by Jeremy Jordan), “whose short but remarkable life took him from teen idol to global sensation, inspiring generations of performers who followed,” a press release stated. The musical also features a live on-stage band performing his iconic hits, including “Beyond the Sea,” “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover” and “Mack the Knife.”

Madix’s Broadway announcement came shortly after it was revealed that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt would be returning to Just in Time as Sandra Dee for a six-week run starting Dec. 1.

It’s already been a record-breaking year for Madix, coming off hosting her third season of Love Island USA, which has only continued to skyrocket in ratings. The hosting role on the reality dating show also earned Madix her first Emmy nomination last month.

“I know there’s kind of this joke that people make of it’s just an honor to be nominated, but it is so true,” she previously told The Hollywood Reporter after learning about her nom. “It’s such a huge honor to be nominated, especially to be nominated in the category where these are people who are the absolute best at what they do.”
