Ariana Grande Monica Schipper/Getty Images Ariana Grande fans will unfortunately not get to see the Grammy winner sporting her iconic high heels during the final two shows of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
The “Petal” singer told fans on her Instagram Story Monday that she’ll have to wear “cozy footwear” for her concerts on Monday and Tuesday at London’s The O2 due to a “minor injury” on her foot.
“I wanted to let you know I will need to be in cozy footwear for this evening’s show (and possibly tomorrow’s) as I am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury,” she wrote. “It is not a sprain or anything muscular but just a deep cut!”

Grande continued, “So when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even possibly having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why! But please do not fret. On with the show and I am on the mend! I cannot wait to perform for you tonight and tomorrow (even if I am a few inches shorter than usual) … I love you always.”
The singer’s update came after fans shared videos of Grande on social media, where she appeared to be limping at the end of her Friday night show in London.
Grande has been booked and busy this summer, touring across North America and Europe for her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which kicked off in June and concludes in September after a ten-night residency at London’s The O2. She also released her eighth studio album, Petal, at the end of July.
Once the tour wraps on Tuesday, she will be “taking a step back from visibility” and a “much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” The Hollywood Reporter previously learned. Grande has faced a wave of online commentary surrounding her health and body over the last year.
Grande later clarified at one of her Chicago shows that her decision to take a step back from the public eye “was not a reactive or impulsive thing. It was something that I have decided. A plan that I had quietly made a long time ago. It was a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place.”
