Apple launched its latest Pro phones, the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max, today at its fall “Surprise and Shine” iPhone event. While the design of the phones remains the same as the earlier model, the upgraded cameras are the highlight of the new devices.
The new Pro series camera features a 48-megapixel camera with variable aperture, made with six thin blades. This system will likely improve low-light photography quality and speed. There are also new pro controls in the camera software, including white balance, shutter speed, aperture and histogram. There are also new photographic styles with texture and grain controls. This might be the answer to the new “looks” feature on the Pixel 11 series for a more retro style of photos.
