Anubhav Mohanty, one of Odia-language cinema’s most prominent stars, has come on board as presenter for the musical romance drama “Bindusagar,” which opens across Indian theaters on April 17.

The film, produced by Platoon One Films in association with Blackbuck Films, received its world premiere at the 56th International Film Festival of India, Goa, and will be distributed nationwide by Prakash Films, a leading East India distribution house. The production marks the first Odia feature from Platoon One Films, the banner founded by Shiladitya Bora that also produced the Indian National Film Award-winning “Picasso” and Toronto Film Festival selection “Bayaan.”
