The American Black Film Festival has unveiled the competition lineup for its 30th-anniversary edition, including Marsai Martin and Courtney B. Vance’s “The Fridge,” produced by Jamie Foxx; “Montmarte” starring Jesse Williams; and “That’s Her,” featuring Kountry Wayne, Coco Jones and Loretta Devine.

“The Fridge,” a drama about an estranged father and daughter from director Solvan Slick Naim, and “That’s Her,” a buzzy romantic-comedy from filmmaker Nina Lee, are among the 16 films that will make their world premieres at this year’s festival.
