Getty Images “Chicken Shop Date” host and producer Amelia Dimoldenberg is expanding her Dimz Inc. Academy in its second year, with the goal of opening doors for the next generation of creative talent.
This year, Dimz Inc. Academy is extending to a four-week free program and will offer paid work placements, industry mentoring and hands-on experience to young creatives in the field of digital media. Open to London-based young adults between 18 and 24 years old, Dimz Inc. Academy aims to “create meaningful pathways into the creative industries for young people who may not otherwise have access to them,” according to a press release. The initiative is inspired by Dimoldenberg’s own journey, as “Chicken Shop Date” first started as a column for a youth magazine in North London.
