Courtesy: Everett Collection AMC+ has landed the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to the 13-season run of BBC’s revived “Doctor Who” TV series.
Beginning June 11, the platform will now be home to 13 seasons and 176 episodes (including specials) of the award-winning series “Doctor Who.”
Airing in the U.K. from 2005 – 2022, the BBC’s modern-day “Doctor Who” is the longest-running British science fiction television series. The show, which premiered 20 years ago in the U.S., follows the stories of a regenerating Time Lord (a.k.a. The Doctor) who travels on adventures through all of time and space. Throughout the years, The Doctor has been played by Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi and Jodie Whittaker.
