Austin Hargrove/Elisabeth Caren/Courtesy Image The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has added three industry heavyweights to its governing board, electing Broadway producing titan John Gore, blockbuster producer Gale Anne Hurd and Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro to its Board of Trustees.
The trio joins the body that steers the museum’s long-term financial health and governance, with their terms taking effect as of July 1.
