21 million women live in U.S. counties with limited birth control access September 16, 20264:43 AM ETEXCLUSIVE EMBARGOED 9/16 Data shared exclusively with NPR shows more than 21 million women in the U.S. need birth control that they can't access. Two reproductive research organizations, Guttmacher and Power to Decide, have created an interactive map that shows county-by-county the availability and the need for low or no-cost contraception.
