(Image credit: Future/Ian Stokes)Sorry, Darth Vader, as much as I love the Super Star Destroyer Executor, the Clone Wars-era Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is my favorite Star Wars ship. And at 5,374 pieces and over a meter in length, this is an amazing craft to see recreated in Lego form.
Reviewing the Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, Ian Stokes' had a blast building it, thanks to the wealth of varied techniques. only real complaint was the lack of an opening hangar bay. I snagged this last time there was a deal on this set and I'd have to agree.
It includes a pair of minifigures, Clone Wars characters Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen, along, with a plaque featuring facts and tech specs. The ship itself is packed with detail from turrets through to tiny shielded hangars.
Simply put, if you love Star Wars, you have the space and the money (significantly less thanks to this UK-only deal) you really can't go wrong.
