There’s a new trend circulating on TikTok: “What’s in my Hermès Bride-a-Brac,” which, for context, is the French house’s signature cosmetics case. “So, what’s in the bag?” you may ask. Surprisingly, not very many cosmetics. Instead, a wallet (likely designer), sunglasses (also designer), a set of keys and, perhaps, a lip gloss — or four. The point? As luxury prices surge, customers are buying beauty pouches that double as handbags — a dual-purpose dopp kit, if you will.
Whether or not that’s your M.O. is neither here nor there; the moral of the story is this: Travel vanity cases have gotten especially chic, and therefore, exceptionally versatile. From Pucci and Gucci to Bottega and beyond, here are 11 toiletry bags that, if you so choose (or your overstuffed suitcase necessitates) will happily moonlight as designer clutches.
